How to Cancel Service
OKCupid is a free online dating site started by a group of extremely smart men that graduated from colleges like Harvard and MIT. This is not the first website the group has started. They are also famous for TheSpark.com and SparkNotes.com. OKCupid is free and there are no contracts to sign when you join the website. Without a contract or fee of any kind, you can cancel your membership when you desire.
Whether you’ve finally found love or you want to take some time off for a while, you can choose to cancel or suspend your OKCupid account whenever you like. To cancel your OKCupid account – follow these steps:
- Log in to your account.
- Click on the My Profilelink.
- Click on the< b>button.
- Look for the button or tab that reads Disable/Deleteand click it.
- Follow the instructions to cancel your account.
If you choose to disable your account your information will be removed from OKCupid. This means no one will be able to find you when they use the service unless you choose to enable your profile. You can disable your account and then choose to delete or cancel the account at a later time.
Is There An Early Termination Fee?
There is no early termination fee associated with OKCupid because the service is free. All customers that sign up for the service can cancel at any time.
Match.com bought out OKCupid in 2011. Match.com paid $50 million for the website, but the creators of the site swear the service will remain free to all customers in the future. Unfortunately, with a new boss in the house, there is no way to be 100-percent certain that the service will remain free.
Early Cancellation Policy
OKCupid is free so customers can feel free to create a profile today and cancel the same profile 10 minutes later without worrying about an early termination fee. There are no current fees associated with OKCupid so there is no early cancellation policy.
Will They Work With Me to Avoid Cancel Fees?
We did not find a customer service phone number for OKCupid, but there is an active forum. Members of OKCupid should know that forum posts are viewable by people outside of the site, so never post anything you wish to keep within the OKCupid website.
