When we sign up for a gym membership, it is always with good intention. We want to lose weight, to start the New Year off right, to look and feel better, and get healthy. However, sometimes, even with the best of intentions, life does not always work out the way we want it to. Finding time and motivation to go to the gym becomes progressively more difficult unless you are truly dedicated, but even the best of us falter from time to time. Sometimes, we find the membership to be more costly than we realized or can afford, and regardless of the reasons why, find ourselves needing to cancel the gym membership. Since there are several different gyms across the country, all with different plans and promotions, we have taken the time to connect with as many of them as possible to clearly display the cancellation process for our readers. The list includes companies such as: Bally’s, Curves, 24 Hour Fitness, 24 Hour Fitness, and more. Depending on the plan you signed up for when you started the membership, there may be early termination fees associated with cancelling the service, because not all plans will allow a month-to-month option. If you have not yet fulfilled the terms of your contact, expect to pay a termination fee. Some companies will work with you on this, while others will not be as flexible.
While our list may not be complete, yet, we are constantly adding more content to our library to ensure that no matter what gym you belong to, you will find it in the list below. If you do not see your gym, let us know. We will be able to tell you if it is on the list for release in the near future, or if we will be adding it to our queue. Please share any experience you have cancelling your gym membership on the appropriate page so our readers can lean from other’s experience.
